1. Product Introduction
The KNF-315TDR sensor is a high-sensitivity, stable tool designed for observing and researching the occurrence, evolution, and reclamation of saline soils, as well as water-salt dynamics. By measuring the soil dielectric constant, it accurately reflects the real moisture content of various soils. It measures the Volumetric Water Content (VWC), adhering to current international standards.

Quick measurement method
Select an appropriate measurement location, avoiding stones, ensuring that the steel needle does not come into contact with hard objects. Remove the top layer of soil according to the required measurement depth, maintaining the original tightness of the soil beneath. Firmly hold the sensor and insert it vertically into the soil. Do not shake it left or right during insertion. For a small area of a single measurement point, it is recommended to measure multiple times and calculate the average value.

Underground measurement method
Dig a pit with a diameter of more than 30 cm vertically. Insert the sensor steel needle horizontally into the pit wall at the predetermined depth. Fill the pit tightly and let it stand for a while. Then, you can conduct measurements and records for several consecutive days, months or even longer periods.
