Shenzhen, China - KNF (Kainafu) has introduced the KNF-400PRO, an integrated multi-parameter water quality sensor with automatic cleaning designed for continuous, unmanned online monitoring across wastewater treatment, surface water, marine and groundwater environments. Combining six measurement parameters in a single compact probe, the KNF-400PRO delivers stable and accurate readings while dramatically reducing on-site maintenance.

The KNF-400PRO measures dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity, turbidity, depth and temperature simultaneously within a single body of Diameter 65mm x 430mm. Instead of deploying several separate instruments, operators can install one probe and capture a complete picture of water quality in real time.
Because all six parameters share a single housing and a single cable, installation and wiring are greatly simplified, calibration is faster, and the total cost of ownership is lower than that of a multi-instrument setup. On-site calibration can be carried out directly in the field, and the calibration data is stored inside the probe for quick whole-machine adjustment.
Biofouling and dirt deposition are among the biggest enemies of long-term online measurement. The KNF-400PRO addresses this challenge with a built-in automatic cleaning brush that scrubs the measurement surface, removes bubbles and inhibits microbial growth. By default the brush operates every 30 minutes, and the cleaning interval can be customized to match local water conditions.
The result is a maintenance cycle that can be extended to several months, enabling continuous unmanned operation. Combined with its full digital RS485 output and standard MODBUS protocol, the sensor integrates easily into existing SCADA and IoT water monitoring platforms.
