KNF-1500 Portable Multiparameter Water Quality Analyzer Enters Series Production
Shenzhen, China - The KNF-1500 portable multiparameter water quality analyzer is now available for international buyers, bringing laboratory-grade measurement of pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, salinity, TDS, turbidity and temperature into a single handheld field instrument.
Field engineers have long accepted a difficult trade-off: accurate water quality data required benchtop instruments and a fixed power supply, while portable meters sacrificed stability, needed constant calibration, or covered only one or two parameters. The KNF-1500 portable multiparameter water quality analyzer is designed to remove that trade-off. It combines a handheld reader with up to four interchangeable digital sensors, and it recognises each sensor automatically the moment it is connected, so a technician can move from pH to dissolved oxygen to turbidity on the bank of a river without touching a configuration menu.

Why the Analyzer Changes Field Work
Technical Snapshot
| Parameter | Principle | Range | Accuracy |
| Dissolved oxygen | Fluorescence lifetime | 0-50 mg/L or 0-500% saturation | ±1% or ±0.2 mg/L (0-20 mg/L) |
| pH | Glass electrode | 0-14 pH | ±0.02 pH |
| ORP | Platinum electrode | -1999 to 1999 mV | ±20 mV |
| Conductivity / salinity / TDS | Four-electrode | 0-200 mS/cm; 0-175 ppt; 0-128,000 mg/L | ±1% or 0.01 mS/cm |
| Turbidity | 90° scattered light | 0-1000 or 0-4000 NTU | ±5% or 0.3 NTU |
| Temperature | Thermistor | -5 to 50 °C | ±0.2 °C |
| Ammonia nitrogen | Ion selective | 0-100 mg/L (optional 0-1000 mg/L) | ±10% or ±0.5 mg/L |
| Chlorophyll / blue-green algae | Fluorescence | 0-500 μg/L; 0-300,000 cells/mL | ±5% or R² > 0.999 |
| Oil in water | UV fluorescence | 0-50 or 0-150 ppm | Linearity R² > 0.999 |
| Depth | Differential pressure | 0-30 m | < 0.1% F.S. |
The sensor unit measures Φ66 mm x 532 mm and weighs 1.95 kg with four sensors and a 5 m cable attached. The reader measures 220 x 96 x 44 mm, weighs 460 g and includes built-in barometric pressure compensation that corrects automatically across 50-115 kPa. Data logging is supported, and the Meter Read PC program exports stored records for reporting.
Where It Fits
Environmental consultancies use the analyzer for river, lake and reservoir surveys where sampling points are reachable only on foot. Aquaculture operators check pond dissolved oxygen and temperature within seconds of arriving at the cage. Municipal treatment plants and industrial dischargers verify effluent against permit limits without waiting for laboratory turnaround. Emergency response teams deploy it for spill assessment, and because the meter streams RS-485 Modbus data, the same unit doubles as a calibration reference for permanently installed online monitoring stations.
